I’m a new convert when it comes to the iPhone. I switched from Android to iPhone almost 5 months ago, and while the transition was less than pleasant, I’ve realized the change was unavoidable … so I needed to grin and bare it. Although it’s still a slight adjustment, I’ve since adopted this new item as not only my phone but really as an extension to a lot of work + play projects. Of course I’m talking about the apps. Here are a few apps that I think are really helpful. I would love to know if there is an app you think is great and should become a part of my list!
Sticky
This is a fun and quick way to jot down notes or ideas. You can create separate notebooks and create individual stickies within each notebook. Really great way to organize thoughts and processes.

InsTrack
Great little application for Instagram analytics. On the desktop, I love Iconosquare, but on my smartphone, I go to this app. It lets you see who you are following, who are your fans (those who follow you but you have yet to follow), your top supporters and a few other metrics. The initial download and basic functions are free but to access even more analytics, you will pay a small fee.

Bloglovin’
Can’t forget this helpful little guy! Quick and easy way to keep up on all those great blogs you follow. Although I really do prefer to read blog posts from a desktop or tablet, I find it much easier (and faster) to locate new blogs to explore from the mobile device.

July 28, 2014I’ll have to check out the sticky app- I’m always looking a good note taking / todo app. Just curious- what was your main motivation for the OS switch?

July 28, 2014The switch kind of happened without much thought. My android was old and would not hold a charge (and I went through two different batteries). It was time to renew so I looked at what phone I could get for free since I knew I needed to ditch this one, and the iPhone was free. It was extremely difficult to switch, was nervous about switching to a very different OS. It took some time getting used to it, but overall, it’s been good. Are you looking to switch?
