I’ve been on a podcast kick lately. I don’t remember the first podcast I listened to nor do I remember how I really found out about the first one I heard, but something that immediately captured me, and a reason why I really love many of the podcasts I listen to today, are the unique perspective on the subject matter. Granted, the majority of the podcasts I listen to focus around motherhood, parenting and family life, but that is a result of the season I’m currently in.
At the bottom of this post, I included links to a few mom-centric podcasts that I listen to as soon as I get the chance. What I enjoy most about the hosts? The fact that I can relate to almost all of the hosts in some way. And the podcast episodes? Varied and remarkable. I suppose I say remarkable because it’s a group of moms that are getting together that can share some funny stuff, the everyday things, business gems as well as dig deep inside to really tough places. Collectively, they offer the message of “you’re not alone”.
5 Mom Podcasts Available on iTunes
Coffee + Crumbs {website / iTunes} :: resulted from their wonderful website, three hosts talk with a special mom guest (sometimes) and catch up on the important stuff, like striking balance, potty training, making mom friends and much more.
AT HOME {website / iTunes} :: a group of moms sit around a table to tackle/debate/discuss varied topics like everyday motherhood, education, food, relationships and everything in between.
The Longest Shortest Time {website / iTunes} :: parenting podcast for all that talks about everything. i don’t know if there is a way to accurately describe the podcast, but the guests break into so much like childbirth, fatherhood, diversity, LGBTQ, loss, relationships and so, so, so much more.
One Bad Mother {website / iTunes} :: a really, really funny response to just being moms and being very blunt with everything and anything that is crazy/wonderful/silly/gross in momhood. listen without the kiddos.
Boss Mom {website / iTunes} :: the host loves her kids (obviously) but also her business. she, along with a guest, share ways on how to keep the balance, still do what you love and to notice the similarities between your two worlds.
I hope you enjoy. If you know of others, please share!
