Happy Valentine’s Day! Such a beautiful day. I don’t know why, but it reminds me so much of Thanksgiving. A similar sentiment sweeps across me when this day approaches. Different gathering of folks, but the day is no less special. I get that there are people that want nothing to do with the holiday. Some feel obligated to “do something for someone” or are upset at the fact that they “don’t have anyone”. Honestly? That latter is probably the farthest from the truth. And the former? What is wrong with showing gratitude and appreciation?
Holidays {real or manufactured} encompass those thoughts and feelings that we should carry with us on a daily basis.
We don’t need a holiday to…
Treat others as you want to be treated.
Remind those loved one of just that – that they are loved.
Know that love can take many forms, my friends.
